Josh Adams

Guard – 6’2″

Worked out for the Bucks in Milwaukee on 6/2/16

Josh Adams certainly doesn’t look like the most imposing of players, but his explosive athleticism has allowed the Mountain West Player of the Year to leave a real mark at Wyoming.

Adams can leap in a way that it would be impossible to expect of his appearance, but with the Cowboys he’s rounded out his game to the point where he became an exceptionally capable player across the court.

Many who know him and the coaches who have worked closely with him in Wyoming credit Adams’ inherent desire to win with driving him to improve, and if he does get a chance in the NBA, that attitude will be vital.

Coming off the back of a season where he averaged 24.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists, Adams has at least earned his ticket for the workout rotation. The bigger challenge lies in convincing a team to give him a chance.

Even if it doesn’t come from one of the more traditional avenues on draft night, Adams will keep fighting to get to the NBA, and you’d be brave to bet against him establishing himself as a pro somewhere.
