Jakob Poeltl

Poeltl once seemed like a lock for the Bucks pick. For well over a month many major draft outlets had the Austrian big man pegged to fall to Milwaukee at 10. He was even the first player to hold an individual workout with the team.

Still, he remains a good fit, and many believe the Bucks could select the Utah Ute. At the time of posting, the following experts have the Bucks slated to select Poeltl:

CBS Sports (Sam Vecenie)

FanSided (Chris Reichert)

Vecenie says:

"The Bucks will probably either look big or reach for a point guard here. Poeltl is a good fit inside because he can provide the toughness, rebounding and touch that their players currently occasionally struggle with."

Reichert says:

"He’s not going to lead the league in shot blocking, but he already provides more rim protection than most bigs on the Bucks’ roster at the current time. Poeltl should be able to step into the 2016-17 rotation immediately for the Bucks, or any other team who takes him."
