Another former Buck, albeit one who played in Milwaukee more recently, Jared Dudley has matured and developed into the kind of ideal veteran influence that NBA franchises are desperate to have on their team.
Dudley will lead by example with his generally steady and responsible play, but he’ll also be more vocal than many head coaches around the league would even know how to be.

He’ll talk to his teammates when he’s on the floor to ensure that everybody understands their role and is singing off of the same hymn sheet, and even when the game finishes he’ll offer the media the sort of intelligent and candid interview that can help to deflect attention from any of the team’s younger stars.
Of the names listed here, Dudley will probably prove to be the most expensive of the bunch. If you’re convinced that he has the longevity to see out whatever deal you offer him, it’s hard to suggest he doesn’t represent a sound investment for improved results in the now and a team of leaders in the future.
