Milwaukee Bucks: Tony Snell Trade Grades, Reactions

What The Bucks Gained
Tony Snell
Tony Snell is not spectacular. Snell shot under 40 percent from the field last season, meaning he’s failed to make 40 percent of his shots in two of his three NBA seasons. In over 18 minutes per game with the Bulls in his career, Snell has scored 5.3 points per game.
He’s not an impact player through his individual contributions. Snell will have a few games where he goes off, but for the most part his contributions will be quiet. He had one game of 20 or more point scoring last season and 12 games where he managed double-digit scoring.
He is a good three-point shooter though, and a pretty good defender. Snell held opponents to under their average field goal shooting percentages last season, and shot 36.1 percent from three-point territory. He’s a good three-point shooter, just less adept at making closer shots.
Snell will start for the Bucks, which is more than could be said about MCW. He’s a good enough wing player considering the makeup of this team, and should the team wish to they could retain him to serve as Khris Middleton‘s backup going forward.
