Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways From Win Over Chicago Bulls
Major To The Cat
While we may have anticipated “Prime Time” Giannis, we may have overlooked the same happening for Jabari Parker. Regardless, Jabari came to play facing his hometown team and to say he got off on the right foot would be saying it lightly.
Like Giannis, Jabari flexed his muscles early offensively, hitting a pair of threes and running the floor for a couple of easy lay ins. Of course, he just had to add in a thunderous slam as well.
Jabari would keep up the pace on that end of the floor for the first half, scoring 17 points on eight shots. Although the pace and efficiency in his scoring would die down over the course of the second half, he still helped add to the Bucks lead and remained a threat the Bulls respected.
On the other end, last night was one of Jabari’s better games defensively. Matching up against Jimmy Butler, Parker did his best to limit the All-Star forward from the field and he even came up with a key deflection when things were getting too close for comfort.
All in all, last night added to what’s been a great month of December for the 21-year old and here’s to hoping that only continues going forward.
