The Moose Is Cruisin’

Adding to his solid regular season campaign, Greg Monroe came up big for the Bucks once again last night.  Coming off the bench, Monroe delivered solid minutes (27 to be exact) and proved to be a major factor on both ends of the floor.

Offensively, Monroe was key in helping provide a spark for the team’s offense. He was often unselfish throughout the game, hitting players cutting to the basket for simple scores.

Of course, Monroe would add in his patented scoring and delivered one of his most efficient nights of the year, scoring 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Although he did flash a little range, Monroe put on a clinic on or around the block, regularly bruising past the Thunder’s bigs for buckets down low.

Defensively, Monroe was steady as he’s been for much of the year, playing with active hands and doing his best to disrupt shots. He also played a big part on the glass defensively as he used his size to help neutralize one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the league.

All in all, a night where Monroe scores in double figures, grabs seven rebounds, dishes out two assists and comes up with a steal and a block usually means good things for the Bucks. It’s fair to say that’s not going away anytime soon.
