Bench Production

Tonight was not a fun night for the Milwaukee bench. The bright spot tonight was Rashad Vaughn, which was great to see, but sadly not a good sign.

Matthew Dellavedova had his worst game in a Bucks uniform, shooting 0-of-4 from the field while failing to add even a single assist. He just looks lost with the bench unit. He does his best to feed the bench scorers, but the spacing is just all off. Greg Monroe will get the ball in the post, but everything is just clogged up for him down there.

Speaking of Moose, he also struggled in his 14 minutes. When he doesn’t have the space to operate, he can’t make his smooth passes to a cutter, let alone create enough space for his shot.

The team was winning games when the bench was producing at a high level, Even though Malcolm Brogdon has been producing in the starting line-up, he was running the bench as if it was his own team. He kept the bench in a calm, controlled state.
