Jabari Issues

After Jabari Parker let loose some information regarding Friday night’s team meeting, Jason Kidd decided to sit him for the first quarter of Saturday’s game, citing a team rules violation.

The Bucks managed to keep the boat afloat without their third year star forward in the first. Jabari checked in to start the second quarter, ending any debate of his status for the night.

It was to be wondered if he would come out aggressive, or if he was gonna take the role of a 1960s dog, who just got a newspaper to the jowls.

Parker came out aggressive, which was a good sign for his mental makeup. Sadly, his aggressiveness didn’t lead to a very productive night, though, ending the game with 16 points on 7-18 shooting.

Jabari did manage to assist four of his teammates in only three quarters. It’s been nice to see him consistently setting his teammates up over the past couple months.

Defensively, Jabari was up and down as has been something of the norm. He looked very lost on a couple of James Johnson top of the key screen and rolls. It was a classic case of the not all that quick to react Jabari.

On the bright side, if there is one, Jabari did get a steal and a block.
