Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways From Loss To Miami Heat
Feeling Sorry For Jabari
Undoubtedly the biggest news of the night is the status of Jabari Parker, who went down with a left knee injury midway through the third quarter.
Long before his injury, however, Parker was turning in a solid night offensively, scoring 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting in the first half and it looked like it would carry over into the second half with plays like this in store.
Obviously that came to a grinding halt near the 6:34 mark of the third quarter when Jabari went driving into the paint only to fall into a heap before getting the foul call on Luke Babbitt, eerily similar to how he tore his ACL during his rookie season.
The last sight of Jabari on the night was him being helped off by Michael Beasley and Thon Maker as they all headed into the locker room.
Unfortunately, Jabari’s performance earlier in the game is a moot point and now we must wait to hear the full extent of his injury following his MRI on Thursday. All we can do hope is that this isn’t a bad case of deja vu.
