Start Beas Up (He’ll Never Stop)

In his second straight starting performance, Michael Beasley was easily a shining star for the Bucks last night.  Where he blended in more against the Pacers over the weekend, Beasley made his mark on the game early on versus the Pistons.

It didn’t take long for Beasley to get hot from the field as he connected on his first five field goal attempts in the first quarter, all made within a span of four minutes and change.

Although he wasn’t able to keep up a perfect night from the field after finally missing midway through the second quarter, Beasley managed to stay hot, even going into the start of the second half.

Beasley eventually played more within the team as the game wore on in the second half, but he still proved to be very effective on both ends of the floor in doing so. In addition to his 23 points, Beasley added in three rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block in his 32 minutes of play.

With another signature performance, Beasley’s play helped prop up the team’s new staring five, which now has a net rating of 5.0 in 25 minutes of play, per NBA.com/stats.

Considering there was no change to the starting lineup following the much needed win over the Pacers, it feels safe to assume that the new starting five with Beasley in the fold will stay intact for Wednesday night.
