Jabari Parker

Year(s): 2016

Jabari Parker missed the chance to play in the Rising Stars Challenge as a rookie due to injury, but he did get into the game in his sophomore season. Jabari looked decent in the game, but just didn’t get the necessary amount of shots up to make a real impact.

He scored 12 points to go along with five assists, one rebound, one block and one steal. Jabari shot 60 percent from the field but only attempted ten shots, compared to 20 each by Jordan Clarkson and Zach LaVine.

LaVine took home MVP honors from the game, and dropped 30 points on Team World. It was a losing effort for Jabari and Team USA though, as Team World won 157-154.

It’s not entirely surprising that Jabari didn’t burst onto the scene in his lone Rising Stars Challenge appearance. Although he was having a terrific season this year, he only scored 14.1 points per game that season, right around the amount he scored in the annual exhibition game.
