T.J. Ford

Year(s): 2006

T.J. Ford has the unfortunate distinction of having the worst Rising Stars Challenge in Milwaukee Bucks history. Ford scored just three points in his one appearance in 2006, and although he did put up five assists his four turnovers ruin that statistic a bit.

Ford was drafted in 2003, but he didn’t get picked to play his rookie year and was still eligible to participate in 2006 because he sat out for an entire season between the two years due to a back injury.

His sophomore team did beat Andrew Bogut’s rookie team in 2006, but Ford was not a huge part of the reason. Aside from the points and assists, Ford posted three rebounds and took just two shots.

Ford had a rough rookie season, although his second year of NBA action was a step in the right direction. He averaged 12.2 points and 6.6 assists per game in what was a pretty decent season for the young 6’0″ point guard.
