2015-16 – Khris Middleton (Eliminated First Round)

As one of the league’s very best three-point shooters, and the picture of reliability and consistency from distance, hopes were sky-high among Milwaukee Bucks fans when Khris Middleton made his debut in the Shootout in Toronto in 2016.

On the night, Middleton was up against Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, Devin Booker, James Harden, Kyle Lowry, J.J. Redick and CJ McCollum.

Middleton struggled to adjust to the challenges of shooting from a rack, and needed to finish strong for an opening round of 13. With 20 needed to get into a four-way tiebreaker with Redick, Thompson, Booker and Harden just to advance from the first round, unfortunately, Middleton wasn’t even close.

Klay Thompson would go on to prevail beating off stiff competition from teammate and the previous year’s winner Stephen Curry and Phoenix’s Devin Booker.
