Wilson Chandler

Wilson Chandler is a talented wing who consistently provides his team with a significant contribution. The Nuggets forward can stretch the floor, score on the block, and doesn’t take on an incredibly high usage of possessions for himself. He’s not the best three-point shooter, with a career mark of 33 percent, but he still puts up a career average of four made threes per game.

With Milwaukee, he’d certainly bring some scoring punch to the line up, but just like P.J. Tucker, teaming him with Giannis may be difficult. From a purely offensive standpoint, he could be a nice replacement for Jabari Parker within the offense.

The addition of Chandler could allow Giannis to try to make something happen to start the possession, before then reversing the ball to the other side of the floor to give Wilson Chandler his opportunity to attack.

An issue with Chandler is that he’s only played the full 82 games once in his eight-year career. Giving up big assets for a guy who has a history of missing 30 games or so in a season, would be pretty risky.

If Milwaukee is serious about acquiring the DePaul star, they may end up having to give up some serious assets. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a team give up a first round pick for him as they attempt to make some noise in the playoffs. The Nuggets coach Mike Malone said, “We’re not going to mortgage our future for an eighth seed.” (via T.J. McBride)

Perhaps the Bucks should move forward with a similar mantra.
