Where’s The Points?

There were 11 Bucks who got minutes against the Jazz on Friday. Two of them were Michael Beasley and Giannis Antetokounmpo–we’ll get to them later.

Nine of them were Matthew Dellavedova, Tony Snell, Thon Maker, Greg Monroe, Malcolm Brogdon, Khris Middleton, John Henson, Jason Terry and Rashad Vaughn. Those nine players combined to score 40 points against the Jazz.

Only four of those nine players scored more than five points, and none of them hit double figures. Middleton came the closest, which is somewhat sad considering he’s still clearly getting back into NBA game form at the moment.

There’s just no way to win basketball games when only two players are doing anything substantial on offense. Teams with balanced offensive attacks–like the Utah Jazz–are much harder to stop than teams that rely on one or two players to just keep getting buckets.
