Middleton Starts

Khris Middleton returned to the starting lineup for the first time since his hamstring injury. He played a season high 28 minutes, and struggled for most of the game.

The Bucks star finished the game with eight points, shooting 3-8 from the field, 1-3 from three, and 1-1 from the line. He rounded out his stat line with seven rebounds, two assists, and four turnovers.

Middleton still looks a tad rusty coming back from his hamstring injury. It doesn’t look like he has his full level of mobility on the floor yet, which probably has more to do with cardio limitations than his hamstring.

The team needs to find a replacement for the scoring that Jabari Parker brought to the table. If they hope to make the playoffs, the Texas A&M Aggie must return to his prior form. Even more importantly, the team needs to regain their chemistry with him being a key cog with the offense.

With Khris being held out of the back-to-back, I suspect Beasley will return to the starting line up.
