Player To Watch: Nikola Jokic

Nikola Jokic is a very skilled and good basketball player, but he’s also hilarious. He recorded his first triple-double earlier in February against the Bucks, and celebrated by “nakedly hugging” his coach, Michael Malone.

Just on Tuesday, Jokic put up his third triple-double, both in February and in his career. The Serbian center can really play, and at just 22 years old Jokic is becoming one of the premier young players in the NBA.

Maybe the best part about Jokic’s game is his flashy passing. Jokic is adept at dealing the ball out of tight post situations, and his Nuggets teammates surely enjoy the great looks he so often sets them up with.

Jokic is awesome, simply put. Thus far in February, he’s been incredible on the court, averaging 16.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. The Bucks will need to account for Jokic all night while he’s on the floor, but if they give him too much attention he’ll rack up assists real quick.
