Raining Threes In Philly Like D Batteries

The Milwaukee Bucks have made 14 or more threes four times this season. After nailing 14 triples against Philly and winning, the Bucks are now 4-0 in games where they make that many threes.

There’s some variation of the same sarcastic tweet that goes around Bucks twitter every time Milwaukee nails a ton of threes, and I’m so here for it. Invariably, somebody will tweet something like: “Wow, who knew making a bunch of threes helped a team on offense in the modern NBA!”

Last night that tweet wasn’t sent exactly, but there was a haiku involving how good Milwaukee’s offense looked because of the threes, so we’ll take that. Thanks, Rohan!

Anyway, Tony Snell was the biggest benefactor of the shooting movement, as he made five of seven threes on his way to 21 points against Philly. Thon Maker, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Malcolm Brogdon, Matthew Dellavedova, Khris Middleton and Mirza Teletovic all made at least one three as well.
