Tear Down The Statue

Spencer Hawes couldn’t follow up his last game with another good one against Philly. Hawes posted two points on four attempted shots against the 76ers, and the Bucks were outscored by nine points while he was on the floor.

Remember my statue idea? Let’s just go ahead and scrap that bad boy right away in favor of the long-awaited Ersan Ilyasova taking a charge statue. He deserves it, even if he’s currently taking charges for the Atlanta Hawks.

At least we got a new nickname for Hawes out of this situation, courtesy of Bucks blog godfather Frank Madden:

I’m sold. Spencer “The Statue” Hawes will likely be chiseled to the bench for a while after his game on Monday night, but who knows given how Jason Kidd‘s rotations have fluctuated this season.
