Thon Maker. 9. team. 89. It was not Thon’s greatest week shooting the three (1-for-11, 9.1 percent), but that is okay. He is still very young and just getting his feet wet in the NBA. These kind of stretches are bound to happen so it is important that he stays positive and confident. Seeing a consistent role in the starting lineup might prove to be an awesome thing for his future, even if he is limited to under 15 minutes per game. He is getting eased into play against the elite competition and showing what he can do on the floor, whether that be offensive, defensive, or rebounding.
With Monroe flourishing off the bench and Hawes playing well too, Maker is doing a nice job starting each game and playing quite well before the other two come in as reserves.
.
