Finale

With the Bucks surging and many of the teams at the bottom of the Eastern Conference playoffs currently lagging behind, this game is huge for seeding purposes. In addition to simply affecting the standings, Milwaukee could grab the tiebreaker over Indiana by winning the season series.

Those tiebreakers will matter if the hunt for the bottom few playoff spots is as tight later as it is now. Milwaukee already has won the season series against the Chicago Bulls. A win tonight and on March 31 gives them that edge over both Indiana and the Detroit Pistons as well.

The Bucks would only need to tie any of those three teams in record to get the better seed, should they capture all of those season series. The Miami Heat are currently ahead of Milwaukee in the standings for the same reason–they beat the Bucks three times already this season.
