Major Key For Milwaukee: Keep That Energy Up

The Bucks won on Friday not because of scheme, or one single player being otherworldly, but instead thanks to the team banding together after a disappointing first half and simply refusing to lose.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Greg Monroe were the best Bucks on Friday, but none of them got the win alone. Every Buck was tuned in after halftime, and after the Pacers led by five in the first half Milwaukee won the third quarter by 11 points and the fourth by eight.

Monroe getting an and-one to drop might’ve been the best Bucks moment of the season thus far, because of how pumped the rest of the team is. Check out Jason Terry in the background of this clip with an adapted Sam Cassell dance.

At that moment, the Bucks captured all the momentum and they ran with it. This was an ugly win, but as J Cole would say there’s beauty in the struggle. Without three key forwards in Michael Beasley, Mirza Teletovic and Jabari Parker, plus the loss of Malcolm Brogdon for the game, the Bucks found a way to win. That is truly beautiful.
