Major Key For Los Angeles: Let Those Young Guys Improve

This should be a reachable goal for the Lakers, much more so than asking the team to win basketball games or something crazy like that. All tanking jokes aside, there are some fun young players on the Lakers.

Larry Nance Jr. is healthy again, although he played just seven minutes in Los Angeles’ last game. Nance Jr. can really dunk, as evidenced by some of the posters he’s put defenders on this season.

D’Angelo Russell has been benched in favor of giving Jordan Clarkson more minutes at point guard, but he’s an exciting player as well, although his missteps have been widely publicized on social media this season.

Julius Randle, walking skelton Brandon Ingram and Ivica Zubac are all interesting young players too, especially the later two, who are both just 19 years old. The Lakers aren’t lying about having an exciting young core at least.
