Finale

The Bucks could pick up wins over both Los Angeles teams in a three-day span if they can win on Friday against the Lakers. Traditionally the Clippers have been second-fiddle to the Lakers, but lately it’s the Lakers who have struggled to put together a complete team.

Some of the reason for that is the Lakers tanking, first stealthily and then less so, in the twilight and aftermath of Kobe Bryant‘s career. The Lakers realize the importance of having a franchise player around–they’ve had lots of success with stars in the past.

Still, regardless of their reasoning there’s no debate that the Lakers are not any sort of basketball powerhouse right now. The Bucks should be able to win here and guarantee a minimum of two wins on this road trip, preventing it from being a complete disaster.
