Dynamic Duo

Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo combined to destroy the Lakers on Friday. Khris and Giannis combined for 56 points on just 34 attempted shots in a very efficient display of offense.

Both players had strong nights. Giannis put up 26 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two blocks, while Khris managed 30 points, two rebounds and a steal. Late in the game, it seemed like Middleton was incapable of missing shots.

WIth Jabari Parker out for the year, the scoring burden rests the most on these two. The Bucks have other players who can score, but not too many with Michael Beasley also currently out of action for a while.

That means when games are close, even when a role player steps up like Matthew Dellavedova on Wednesday, Middleton and Antetokounmpo will have pressure on them to score points. Sometimes the entire team comes together and works as a unit, but in these dog days of the season the Bucks will need to trust their dynamic duo to score the ball often.
