Thon Making Waves

Early in the first quarter on Saturday night, Thon Maker was doing great work against the Warriors. He was active on the glass on both ends, and nobody on the Warriors was big or strong enough to stop him.

Thon ended the night with nine points, five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. He made three of five field goal attempts and three of his four free throws. The only shots he missed were the two threes he attempted.

In 13 minutes of Thon, the Warriors only outscored the Bucks by one point. That’s the best mark among starters, and actually among all Bucks (Rashad Vaughn had the same plus-minus as Thon did in his 12 minutes of garbage time.)

After a string of rough games in a row, it was nice to see that kind of performance from Thon against such a great team. Hopefully he stays active on the floor like that for the rest of the regular season.
