Bench Duo Agitates

The Bucks came in to Sacramento looking to get above .500 for the first time since January 15, and they weren’t messing around as they continued their recent intense play.

Sacramento had gripes against two Milwaukee bench players. Spencer Hawes and Jason Terry. Hawes, who was drafted by the Kings, was outspoken about wanting the franchise moved to Seattle in 2013. Terry is disliked for not wanting to play for the team after they acquired him in a deal that sent Marcus Thornton to Brooklyn in 2014.

Hawes hit his first three of the second quarter, then waved at the crowd as they booed him. The former King was clearly happy to be playing his old team, playing with a high energy level. He recorded eight points, one rebound, one assist, and two blocks in nine minutes of play in the first half.

Terry also interacted with the Sacramento crowd asking for boos after his second three, and then went on to criticize the Kings defense in his halftime interview.
