Locked-In Giannis

The Bucks’ All-Star dominated a young Kings team, who rested Ty Lawson and Kosta Koufos. He made his way to the rim at ease, scoring 32 points on 12-22 shooting, 1-2 from three, and 7-10 from the line.

With Willie Cauley-Stein or Skal Labissiere on him, Giannis was able to do whatever he wanted on the offensive end. He didn’t become overly aggressive, instead choosing his spots to get to the hole.

Scoring against Cauley-Stein in the post is no easy feat, but Giannis was able to outpivot him on multiple occasions to get a nice look at the basket.

Giannis contributed in all areas of the game as usual, adding 13 rebounds, six assists, two steals, a block, and zero turnovers.

The 22-year-old also added another 40 minutes to his legs. The Kings were keeping it just close enough that Giannis was needed deeper into the fourth quarter than one would like.
