Point Guard Play
The Bucks point guards combined for seven assists on this occasion. That’s the type of ball handling the Bucks need as they push forward if they’re looking to cause opponents trouble in April. Malcolm Brogdon had both of the turnovers, but played a great game overall.
The ball was in his hands a lot with Khris Middleton picking his moments wisely. The President was able to slice through the Kings’ defense to get to the hole and find his teammates for four assists. He also scored 12 points on 5-8 shooting, hitting 2-4 from three.
Matthew Dellavedova led the bench unit. As usual he wasn’t handling the ball too much, rotating it around the perimeter on nearly every possession. He only recorded three assists, but he was the steady floor general that unit needed to play well.
The Saint Mary’s star didn’t have his shooting stroke on, air-balling twice, and shooting 1-6 from the field.
