Major Key For Milwaukee: Pack The Paint

The Chicago Bulls are in the running for the worst three-point shooting team in the NBA. It shouldn’t come as any surprise that the Bucks have had great success against Chicago this season.

Milwaukee’s biggest bugaboo on defense is allowing teams to get good looks from three-point territory. The Bulls have no way to capitalize on those opportunities, so the Bucks have beaten them three times this year by an average score of 19 points per game.

Chicago is 27th in three-point percentage and 29th in three-point shots attempted per game this season. The Bulls just don’t have the shooters to chuck from distance, and they traded the one good shooter the team did have in McDermott.

The next leading three-point shooter by percentage on the Bulls is Rajon Rondo (aside from Anthony Morrow, who has played in just four games this season.) Rajon Rondo is the Chicago Bulls’ best three-point shooter. I’m sorry, I just had to type that twice to make sure it was right.

With Milwaukee not needing to worry too much about containing the perimeter, this should be another good night for the Bucks defense against the Bulls.
