Chicago’s Hot Shooting

Milwaukee gave plenty of open looks to the Bulls, and Chicago executed on the off night. They shot a scary 45-81 from the field, 10-19 from three, and 7-10 from the line.

The Bucks don’t have the basketball powers to allow a team to shoot 55.6 percent from the field. Jimmy Butler had a terrific game, putting in an efficient 18 points, plus a career-high 14 assists. He was easily the best player on the floor, as he continues his great play since Dwyane Wade went down with an elbow injury two weeks ago.

Nikola Mirotic killed the Bucks with one of his scoring explosions. He made six of the team’s nine three pointers. Milwaukee was trying to help off him to make life more difficult for Jimmy Butler, but when he’s hitting like that, the team is in deep trouble.

The Bulls played with a ton of enthusiasm as they avoided the season sweep at the hands of the Bucks.
