100. The Pacers won one out of four games this week, dropping them a game behind the Bucks and Hawks for the fifth spot. Next week is awfully difficult for the struggling team, as they hit the road to face the Grizzlies, Raptors, and Cavaliers. They then return home for another matchup against the Raptors. If they have a disastrous week, the Heat could overtake them for seventh, as they only sit one game back.. (37-37). Previous: 13th. Indiana Pacers. 15. team

Portland Trail Blazers. 14. team. 34. The schedule was kind to the Trail Blazers, and they took full advantage of it. Before they beat the Nuggets to take a one game lead in the race for eighth, Portland beat the Knicks, Timberwolves, and Lakers. They’ve won eight of their last eleven. Next week they host the Rockets and Suns, then go on the road to challenge the Timberwolves and Jazz. My never count out <a rel=. (36-38). Previous: 18th

Milwaukee Bucks. 13. team. 89. Milwaukee won three out of their four contests this week. They won in Sacramento and Charlotte to continue their fine play on the road. The Bucks could have taken the fifth spot this week, but split their homes games with a loss to Chicago and a win against the Hawks. <a rel=. (38-36). Previous: 14th

Atlanta Hawks. 12. team. 125. The Hawks are hurting themselves, losing seven of their past eight games. They’ve opened up the race for the fifth seed, sitting tied with Milwaukee. They hold the tiebreaker, but desperately need Paul Milsap back in the line-up. The Hawks have a chance to win their three games next week, coming on the road against the 76ers, Bulls, and Nets. <a rel=. (38-36). Previous: 12th

211. The Grizzlies have had a very up and down time since the All-Star break, going on another down slope by losing all three of their games this week. They spent the week on the road, with two very difficult games to start their week against the Spurs and Warriors. They then lost to their ex-coach Dave Joerger and the Kings by one point. They’ve fallen two-and-a-half games behind the Thunder for the sixth spot, cementing themselves in a Spurs-Grizzlies match up to open the playoffs.. (40-34). Previous: 11th.
