Before they beat the Nuggets to take a one game lead in the race for eighth, Portland beat the Knicks, Timberwolves, and Lakers. They’ve won eight of their last eleven. They hold the tiebreaker, but desperately need Paul Milsap back in the line-up. 211. The Grizzlies have had a very up and down time since the All-Star break, going on another down slope by losing all three of their games this week. They spent the week on the road, with two very difficult games to start their week against the Spurs and Warriors. They then lost to their ex-coach Dave Joerger and the Kings by one point.
