Head Coach

A-. Jason Kidd deserves credit for riding the hot hand on this occasion, as the likes of Monroe and Hawes found themselves rooted to the bench in key moments, and Maker got his chance to shine.
There were spells when the wheels threatened to come off for the Bucks, and the second unit looked particularly shaky, but Kidd couldn’t have played Antetokounmpo and Middleton much more than the 45 and 43 minutes they played respectively. Without Brogdon, Milwaukee’s depth was always going to be tested, but for a change neither the coach nor players panicked when the tide started to turn against them.

Kidd will need to be careful with how he manages Michael Beasley’s re-insertion to the rotation considering how well things were going without him, but for now, this was a pretty solid night for the coach.
.
