Continued Cold Shooting

Another night of cold shooting could have sunk the Bucks had their opponent been anyone other than the 76ers. Starters not named Giannis combined to make only 11-32 field goals, and 3-13 from distance.

Fortunately, Matthew Dellavedova and Greg Monroe produced just enough to take some of the load from Giannis. Delly started the game ice cold, and didn’t hit a single shot until the second half, where he then scored 14 points. Monroe was the only other double digit scorer, putting up 17 points in his 22 minutes.

Other than that, there were very minimal contributions. Khris Middleton and Tony Snell combined for just 13 points on 17 shots, despite playing 33 minutes each. Mirza hit only 1-5 from behind the three point line. Giannis even accounted for over half of the free throw attempts for the team, as they struggled to get to the rim.

There wasn’t a really big difference between this game and the past three, other than the Bucks left this one with a win. The shooting was still poor, they looked lost at times, and Giannis did all the heavy lifting.
