We Have Liftoff

There were a few fun stories intertwined with the Bucks victory on Monday, but one of the best ones might have been Jason Terry looking like he’s entering his prime at the age of 39. JET has been unbelievable for most of this season.

Terry continued to be unbelievable against the Hornets. He took seven threes and made five of them, which made up the entirety of Terry’s 15 points on the evening. JET also grabbed five boards and recorded one assist, one steal and one block.

Milwaukee was plus 19 with JET on the floor, by far the best mark among bench players on Monday. The next closest was John Henson, who had a plus/minus of plus six. Terry was the star of the reserve unit against the Hornets.

Tony Snell and Khris Middleton also achieved some liftoff of their own, from the starting five. Both players made four of their attempted threes, going a combined eight-for-ten from three-point territory. In a game where the Bucks struggled to do much, those threes were absolutely crucial to getting win number 42.
