Continued Cold Shooting From Khris

Khris Middleton had a rough last week of the regular season, and that has apparently carried over into the playoffs. He finished the night just 4 of 15, and missed both his three-point attempts.

While normally a very effective shooter, Khris often settles for tough turnaround fadeaway jumpers. While these are shots he has proved he can make, they’re still ultimately not high percentage looks. When he’s already struggling to hit shots, taking attempts like these make life even harder.

Despite Khris being the second-biggest brick layer in the game (more on that later) he still found a way to be effective. His nine assists were triple the amount of any other Buck, and he had the highest plus/minus in the game with +27. His presence on defense helped hinder ball movement for the Raptors, and he did a good job filling in for Giannis when the Greek Freak got into foul trouble.

The Bucks are going to have a very hard time trying to win if Khris puts up this kind of performance every game. But it’s very encouraging that the Bucks won handily even when their second-best player couldn’t buy a shot with all the Khash in the world.
