Sidy Djitte
Center – 6’10”
Originally from Dakar, the capital of Senegal, Djitte is a 23-year-old big man who has spent his last four years plying his trade for the Clemson Tigers.
Having played a relatively small role through his first three seasons in Clemson orange, Djitte found himself taking on much greater responsibility in his senior year.
An old school big man with a pretty limited offensive repertoire, Djitte’s strongest attribute is arguably his rebounding. Djitte averaged 7.7 rebounds in 23 minutes per game last season, and 12.9 boards per 40 minutes for the entirety of his time at Clemson.
Djitte was among those recently invited to the senior showcase that is the Portsmouth Invitational, but injured his knee in the first game.
Like the rest of his colleagues in today’s workout, Djitte is widely expected to go undrafted.
