Snell’s Game of the Season

There are a few candidates for Tony Snell’s top performance of the season. Although his highest-scoring contest was a 26-point outburst against the Charlotte Hornets, Snell’s 21-point game against the Philadelphia 76ers feels like his real game of the season.

Snell dropped those 21 points along with seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in just a touch over 31 minutes played. The Bucks outscored the Sixers by 24 points in his time on the floor in that game.

With Milwaukee still under .500 at the time, there was no room for error when playing a team like Philly. The Bucks wanted to make the postseason badly, and they needed to beat up on the weaker teams in the East to get there.

Thanks to Snell, Milwaukee easily won that game. His scoring came efficiently, as Snell made eight of 11 field goals and five of his seven threes. Snell even got a dunk in on the Sixers. Seeing him play as aggressively as he did against Philly more often would be great, as Snell clearly can do some damage when he’s feeling himself.
