Amida Brimah

Center – 7’0″

A native of Ghana, Amida Brimah’s strong interior presence has played an important role in a successful few years for UConn.

Although Brimah’s production and his importance to the Huskies likely capped out after a sophomore season where he posted the best numbers of his career and was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year, he was still an important contributor for his final two years with the school.

Brimah is incredibly long and understands how to leverage his physical gifts on the defensive end. At 7’0″ tall, with a 7’6″ wingspan and a standing reach of 9’3″. Brimah is the kind of big man that doesn’t come around too often in a physical sense.

With career per 40 minute averages of 12.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 5.0 blocks (!!!), Brimah has some skill to go with that size and might just be able to convince some team to take a risk on him either in the draft or as an undrafted free agent.
