Zak Irvin
Unlike Bass, Zak Irvin elected to persist and stay at Michigan for four years. Irvin never really became a star with the Wolverines, but he did get lots of minutes, and starts, to show what he’s made of.
Irvin’s minutes coming on a good team that made it to the third round of the NCAA Tournament definitely helps his stock. The 22-year-old shooting guard can stroke threes, as he shot 35.4 percent from deep as a Wolverine.
In his senior season, Irvin averaged 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. He shot 45.3 percent from the field, 34.4 percent from three-point range and 67.1 percent from the charity stripe, a place he struggled at his entire collegiate career.
Irvin had a few big scoring games in his time at Michigan, including three 20-point games this past season, one coming against Wisconsin in a Wolverines loss. Irvin had 16 games that season where he made at least two threes–working on his shot and showing teams he can make NBA threes will be huge for Irvin’s NBA chances going forward.
