Strengths

Nick Young is, first and foremost, a shooter. Sometimes his shots don’t work out, like when he shot 32.5 percent from deep in 2015-16. Sometimes they look like they’re going to work out, but they don’t.

Still, this past season Swaggy was making a good number of his shots. Young took a whopping seven threes per game, and connected on 40.4 percent of them. Even in a tanking-shortened season, he made 170 threes, a career-best mark.

The Lakers, who were horrible just about all of the time after the first few weeks of the 2016-17 NBA season, did get ever-so-slightly better with Young on the floor, although they got outscored both with and without him.

Plus, there’s a certain shall we say swag that surrounds Young. Some might label him a distraction, but Swaggy P would provide some truly entertaining moments should he end up with the Bucks.
