Bucks fans won’t need too much of an explainer of what Ilyasova is about, with the Turkish Thunder having previously been a stalwart of Milwaukee’s teams for seven years. Would there be any point to a reunion, though?

While the Bucks’ crowded frontcourt would make it unlikely and unwise, the fact remains that Ilyasova is still a remarkably consistent contributor in spite of his age.
In spite of being involved in frequent trades since he left Milwaukee, Ilyasova has continued to show up, knock down shots, play good positional defense, and draw charges at a stunning rate. Although it feels like Ersan has been around forever, he’s only recently turned 30 and likely has a few years left ahead of him as a useful bench piece.
