Across every team’s roster for Summer League, first or second year NBA players are usually mainstays. Of course, there are notable exceptions to this and in virtually every case, it’s not without reason for concern.
Now set to make his third straight trip with the Bucks’ Summer League squad, Rashad Vaughn will become a part of a distinguished group of players to make the trip to Las Vegas that have logged two or more years of NBA experience.
This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise as positives have been hard to come by for the 20-year-old, both in Milwaukee and in a Summer League setting.
With his spot on the team’s roster becoming a topic of discussion as the team looks to build on their first winning season since the 2009-10 season, a good performance in Vegas might go a long way for Vaughn. At this point, though, that may be more than what we should expect.
