Achille Polonara, PF

2016-17 stats: 35 GP, 9.8 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 1.5 APG, .8 SPG, .5 BPG, .9 TOV, 48.5 FG%, 37.1 3P%, 55.8 FT%

The first reported addition for the team’s Summer League roster, Achille Polonara is someone the Bucks have reportedly had their eye on since the spring.

It doesn’t take long to figure out why that is after seeing what Polonara is capable of. Standing at 6’7″, Polonara is an athletic combo forward who’s equally reliable driving inside the paint or spotting up from three. Although he stands on the lean side, Polonara can show flashes of being a capable shot blocker defensively as well.

On top of his multiple years of experience playing in Italy’s top-flight league, Polonara has been an active member playing for the national team, most notably logging minimal minutes during the team’s run during EuroBasket 2015.

Like Kempton, Polonara’s stay with the Bucks will be exclusive to Summer League as he agreed to terms with the Italian basketball club Dinamo Sassari of Serie A nearly a month ago, according to E. Carchia of Sportando.
