Last seen giving an encouraging performance in the first round series against the Toronto Raptors, Thon Maker will once again be a focal point for the Bucks during this year’s Summer League.

The 10th overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft, all eyes were on Maker this time last year, considering the circuitous route he took to enter the NBA as well as how surprising his selection was regarded around the league.

Now with a year of experience under his belt, the circumstances of Maker’s second straight trip to Las Vegas won’t have the same level of mystery surrounding it as last year.

That isn’t to say excitement isn’t in store as Maker has only started to scratch the surface of his professional career. With another positive performance in hand when it’s all said and done, the Sudanese native can show the team that his development may be coming along further than they initially expected.
