A player Wisconsinites are very familiar with, the addition of Bronson Koenig in the wee hours after draft night was a pleasant surprise to wake up to.

The sharpshooting 22-year-old rose through the ranks to become one of the standout players in Badgers’ history and currently has his name etched in the school’s record books with the most three-pointers made in a career with 270.

During the pre-draft process, Koenig had worked out for the Bucks back on May 18, but his workout was cut short after he suffered an ankle injury. With reports saying that he’s expected to sign a two-way deal, Koenig’s stay with the Bucks will extend beyond Summer League and he’s on track to become a part of the inaugural squad for the team’s G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd.

So with that security in hand already, Koenig’s journey to the pros has reached very prominent stops across the state of Wisconsin.
