Milwaukee Bucks: Meeting the Summer League roster

2016-17 stats: 34 GP, 5.3 PPG, 4.9 RPG, .9 APG, .5 SPG, .8 BPG, 1.1 TOV, 56.6 FG%, 44.6 FT%

After going undrafted in this year’s draft, Tyler Roberson is hoping his stay with the Bucks for Summer League will act as the launching pad for him to land a gig in the G-League or overseas.

A high flying combo forward from Syracuse University, Roberson came to Milwaukee for a pre-draft workout on June 15. What he lacks in a well rounded game, Roberson makes up for by providing energy, attacking the glass and capitalizing on buckets off cuts or rolling to the rim on the offensive end.

Due to his limitations offensively, it’ll be imperative for the 22-year-old to continue to hone his capabilities on the defensive end. He’s armed with a long wingspan at 7’2″ and with his splendid athleticism, Roberson has the right set of attributes to become a versatile defender wherever he winds up on the next level.

How his skill set will translate on a Summer League setting will be something to keep an eye on over the next week or so.
