Sterling Shooting

These puns are already old, but Sterling Brown keeps making steady improvements to his game, so they’ll keep rolling in. Brown put up 14 points on 6-for-13 shooting on Monday night, but one sequence especially stood out.

With the Clippers’ comeback complete and then some, the game was starting to seem out of reach for the Summer Bucks. That is, until Sterling Brown hit back-to-back threes and then a nice lay-in following a Bucks steal.

That fourth quarter sequence took a 12-point lead down to a four-point lead, one which LA was unfortunately able to build up again until time ran out for another Milwaukee run.

Still, pointless Summer League loss aside, it was an impressive run for Brown personally. The Bucks second-round selection from the 2017 NBA Draft has seemingly gotten better each time out, a trend that Milwaukee would love to continue through the regular season.

Also, the Bucks as a unit shot well from three-point range. Bronson Koenig and D.J. Wilson led the way with three three-pointers apiece, and Milwaukee made 13 of 30 (43.3 percent) triples as a team.
