Milwaukee Bucks Summer League Preview: Sacramento Kings
By Adam McGee
Talented, But Winless
In spite of just a solitary win up until this point, the Bucks enter this playoff matchup as the higher seed. The simple reason for that is Sacramento’s sorry record of 0-3 up until this point.
The Kings have fallen to the Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers to this point, yet they sit with a point differential of just -13, having yet to lose a game by more than six points. Perhaps it says something about the young Kings that they haven’t converted for a win yet, but make no mistake about it, they’re close because of their roster’s exceptional talent.
Sacramento’s Summer League squad is packed with a combination of players who already have NBA experience and those who are set to get plenty in the coming season as recent draft selections.
Coming up against a lineup which could comprise of the likes of De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Skal Labissiere, Malachi Richardson, Justin Jackson, Frank Mason III and Georgios Papagiannis, the Bucks are guaranteed to have the lesser talent. The question now comes down to who’s the more cohesive unit.
