Frontcourt Battle
Without Thon Maker, who has returned to Milwaukee to work out alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks’ frontcourt will be put to the test against a large and talented Kings duo.
Sacramento will likely field Skal Labissiere and Georgios Papagiannis together at the 4 and 5, a pair of players who were both selected with first round selections in the 2016 NBA Draft.
While Papagiannis has struggled to adjust to life in the NBA, Labissiere put in a number of impressive performances in the latter stages of last season, and as a combination they represent the kind of significant size that isn’t in abundance in Summer League.
Milwaukee’s 17th overall pick D.J. Wilson will be up against it, alongside either Tim Kempton Jr. or Stephen Zimmerman, but the Kings have still struggled when it comes to rebounding through their first three games. If the Bucks can help continue that trend, the Kings will find things difficult.
